Terms of service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of CoScout (the "Service"), operated by Raghav Ramakrishnan Iyer as a sole proprietor ("we," "us"). By creating an account, you agree to these Terms.

The service

CoScout is a subscription-based software product that discovers, scores, and surfaces freelance lead opportunities from public sources on the internet. We do not guarantee any specific number of leads, response rates, or income outcomes from using the Service.

Account

You must be 18 years or older to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Subscription and billing

Access to CoScout requires a paid subscription after the 7-day free trial. Subscription fees are billed in Indian Rupees (₹) via Razorpay on a recurring basis. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on the selected billing cycle until you cancel.

Free trial

New accounts receive 7 days of Pro access at no charge. No payment method is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial period, you must select a paid plan or access to the Service will be suspended.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to spam, harass, or send unsolicited bulk messages
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy any part of the Service
• Share your account credentials with other individuals
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose under Indian or applicable law

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without refund.

Intellectual property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service are owned by Raghav Ramakrishnan Iyer / CoScout. You retain ownership of any content you create using the Service, such as outreach messages generated with our tools.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months prior to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms and will notify you by email of material changes. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
